Natural Skin Care: How to take care of you Scars

by Abigail Mckenzee

If you were to look around searching for someone that doesn't have some type of scar, well, you have a hard time finding someone. Scars are just a part of human life. Some can be are easily covered with a bit of makeup while others require more drastic measures.

There must be dozens of skin care products on the market today that claim to help reduce scars from wounds or surgeries and even stretch marks. However, most of them are very expensive and, quite frankly, exaggerate their results.

You may have tried all the traditional products there are and still have scars, but don't let this discourage you. However, you can still find a great deal of comfort in a natural skin care cream that contains ingredients capable of "dissolving" scar tissue. It may not make much sense to you to choose a natural product over a traditional one, but bear with me.

Nature offers Miracle Products

There are two types of natural ingredients that have been used consistently over time to cure skin problems and other ailments:

*Snail Serum or Helix Aspersa Muller extract

*and Rose hip oil

The use of snail serum, for example, can be traced as far back as Hippocrates. Both Hippocrates and his colleagues used snail serum to soften skin and as a Rosacea treatment.

Rose hip oil also has a millenary tradition. For centuries, indigenous tribes in the South of Chile have used rose hips for problems such as scurvy and kidney dysfunction. It has also been used as moisturizer and to minimize stretch marks.

Scar Treatment

Snail serum became important to scar treatments about two decades ago when heliculture workers noticed that the part of their skin that had come in contact with snail serum was healing at a miraculous rate. It quickly became obvious that it could be a great ingredient for skin care products.

Helix Aspersa Muller extract is a glycoconjugates compound that consists of peptides, enzymes, co-enzymes, and other molecules. It makes cellular communication more efficient and helps reduce scar tissue formation in the skin. These glycoconjugates also help reduce excessive inflammation by regulating cell proliferation.

When the serum is applied to the affected area, the glycoconjugates make a bee line towards the site of injury and begin the process of breaking down the damaged cells with amino acids. The broken down cells are quickly replaced with healthy cells.

Rose hip seed oil has also proven to have amazing results when it comes to stretch mark removal. Thanks to its rich composition, consisting of Vitamins A and C and essential fatty acids, this product works by accelerating the skin's cellular activity to improve skin renewal and cell regeneration.

Wound Healing

Rose hip oil and Helix Aspersa Muller can speed up the healing process. They help accelerate the skin's natural renewal process by allowing the body to replace damaged cells with new ones. However, keep in mind that some scars react better than others. They might not be as effective on keloid scar removal as they are on preventing their formation.

If you've just about had it with traditional scar treatments, you might want to try using a natural scar treatment instead. BIOSKINCARE is one of the best skincare products that can help attenuate stretch marks and keloid scars.
